Don Stewart (actor)

Don Stewart ( born November 14, 1935 in Staten Iceland, New York, as Donald Bruce Stewart, † January 9, 2006 in Santa Barbara, California ) was an American actor.

Don Stewart announced in 1942 his film debut in Where Trails End. His breakthrough was reached in 1968 in the American soap opera Guiding Light. There he played the role of Mike Bauer to 1984. Incidentally, Stewart entered into numerous series on, about Remington Steele, Beverly Hills 90210, Knots Landing, LA Law, The X-Files, and most recently in 2001 in JAG - The Call of Duty.

Don Stewart has two children with his first wife Carol Gemberling. Five months before he died of lung cancer in 2006, he married Susan Tremble.
