Donald Andrews

Donald Wilfrid Kao Andrews ( born 1955 ) is an American- Canadian economist. He specializes in econometrics.

Life

1977 Donald Andrews closed his Econometrics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver with a bachelor's degree. There followed in 1980 a master's degree at University of California, Berkeley. At this university two years later he received a Ph. D. with a thesis A Model for Robustness against Distributional Shape and dependence over time. In the same year, Andrews lecturer at Yale University in the Department of Economics. 1986 to 1991 he was co-editor (associate editor ) of the journal Econometric Theory. 1987 Andrews was at Yale University as an associate professor and also in 1987 took a visiting professorship at the California Institute of Technology. Since 1988 he is co-editor of the journal Econometrica. From 1998, he was full, from 1998 to 2005 William K. Lanman Jr. Professor of Yale University. In 1991 he was co-editor of Econometric Theory and remained so until 2003. Since 2005 Donald Andrews is there TC Koopmans Professor.
