Donald Graham Burt

Donald Graham Burt is an American art director and production designer, who for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008 ) both an Oscar and a British Academy Film Award ( BAFTA Film Award ) and the Excellence in Production Design Award from the Art Directors Guild, the SDFCS Award and the Award WAFCA won.

Life

Burt began his career as an art director and production designer in the film industry in Hollywood in 1993 the film The Joy Luck Club and worked until today at the scenic features of 15 films.

For The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008 ) directed by David Fincher, starring Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett and Taraji P. Henson in the lead roles, he received together with Victor J. Zolfo at the Oscar Ceremony 2009 Academy Award for Best Production Design as well as at the British Academy Film Awards 2009 BAFTA film Award for best Production Design. In addition, he and Zolfo and their staff in 2009 the Excellence in Production Design Award from the Art Directors Guild ( ADG). In addition, he alone was honored with the Award of the San Diego Film Critics Society ( SDFCS Award ) and the Washington DC Area Film Critics Association ( WAFCA Award). In addition, he was nominated for a Satellite with Tom Reta Award for Best Production Design.

In 2011 he was nominated for another Excellence in Production Design Award, with Curt Beech, Carl Sprague and Keith P. Cunningham for the film The Social Network (2010) by David Fincher with Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake.
