Donovan Slijngard

Slijngard Donovan ( born August 28, 1987 in Amersfoort ) is a Dutch football player. Since the summer of 2006, the left-back is the pro squad of the Dutch first division club Ajax Amsterdam. For the 2008/ 09 season, he was loaned to league rival Sparta Rotterdam.

Until 1998 Slijngard learned the football in his hometown at ABC VV Cobu Boys Amersfoort. In the summer it finally lured the Ajax youth scouts in the Amsterdam football boarding school, where he played until 2006 in the youth teams. For the 2006/07 season he was finally appointed to the senior squad, he listened ever since.
