Donzaleigh Abernathy

Donzaleigh Avis Abernathy [ æbɚnæθɪ ] (* August 5, 1957 ) is an American actress, director and writer.

Familial lineage

Donzaleigh Abernathy is the youngest daughter of civil rights leader Ralph Abernathy, who from 1955 on, soon as a close friend of Martin Luther King, Jr., participated in the civil rights movement for equal rights for African Americans (Civil rights movement ). This fact was also the basis for her book Partners to History, which she wrote to her acting career in 2003 in parallel.
