Dora the Explorer

Dora ( Dora the Explorer in English ) is an American animated television series of the television channel Nickelodeon.

The series is designed to appeal especially the Latin American population of the United States.

Content

The seven -year-old Dora travels with her ​​monkey Boots and her backpack Backpack around the world. She is a Latina and speaks English and Spanish. During her travels, she experiences with different people adventure and helping them to solve puzzles.

In the German version of Dora and her friends speak German and English. Order to provide their pre-school children the basics of the English language (numbers, directions, simple words ) may be requested. The program is used for bilingual preschool education.

Characters
