Dormition of the Theotokos Church, Targovishte

Church of the Assumption (Bulgarian: Църква Свето Успение Богородично, Tsarkva Sveto Uspenie Bogorodichno ) is assumed in Targovishte and the diocese of Varna and Veliki Preslav an Orthodox church building of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. History

The building is located in the district Varosha - the old town of Targovishte.

The church was built in the years 1847-1851 by Usta Dimitar from the school of Tryavna. Originally, the bell tower was a wooden structure next to the building.
