Doroteo Vasconcelos Vides ( born February 6, 1803 in Sensuntepeque, El Salvador, † March 10, 1883 in Ciudad San Vicente) was February 7, 1848 to March 1, 1851 Supremo Director of El Salvador

Life

Doroteo Vasconcelos was a member of the Partido Liberal. On March 5, 1828 Vasconcelos became Minister General of El Salvador in the cabinet of Mariano Prado Baca. In 1830 he was a member and Chairman of the Parliament of the Central American Confederation.

In 1832 he was war prosecutor and governor of Sacatepéquez in Guatemala. In 1833 he came to El Salvador where he had several businesses. In 1836 he was chairman of the party, Partido Liberal. 1840 Eugenio Aguilar went into exile in Panama. Subsequent to the José Francisco Morazán Quezada on September 15, 1842 firing squad in San Jose, Eugenio Aguilar embarked to Europe and came in late 1845 back to El Salvador. On 4 December 1847 he won the elections to the Supreme Director 1848 until 1850. At the end of this term of office, he handed his office for four days from February 1 to February 4, 1850 Ramon Rodriguez.

When Supremo Director, he left the remains of José Francisco Morazán Quezada to the Cementerio de los transfer Ilustres in San Salvador.
