Dot Rotten
Dot Rotten (* October 19, 1987, real name Joseph Ellis ) is a British grime rapper.
Biography
Joseph Ellis is from the south of London, and published as a teenager his first mixtape This Is the Beginning as Young Dot. With the next release R.I.P. Young Dot he changed his name to Dot Rotten. With P Money and Little Dee, he joined together to OGZ crew.
In the following years he worked as a producer with, among others Tinie Tempah and Wiley and went with Chase & Status and Dappy as support on the tour. The charity single Teardrop for Children in Need was a the end of 2011 many prominent British performer, who published under the name The Collective.
In early 2012 he was nominated by the BBC for the Sound of 2012, a list of artists, which we predicted the breakthrough this year. With his single Are You Not Entertained he had in March a moderate success, and three months later he had with Overload his first Top 20 hit.
