Doug Saunders
Doug Saunders ( b. 1967, Hamilton ( Ontario), Canada) is a British- Canadian journalist and author.
Life
Saunders enjoyed his education in Toronto, where he attended York University for seven years, but without making a conclusion. His first journalistic experience he gained as chief of the Ottawa offices of the Intelligence Service Canadian University Press. The early 1990s, he became known by the then new journalistic activities as an online researcher and computer-assisted reporting. In 1995 he was hired by the Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail as a writer of features. In 1996, he had then been able to make a reputation as a specialist in popular themes from the world of media, culture and advertising. He was the 1999 with position occurred as a correspondent in Los Angeles, California with his reports on the social changes in the United States in Canada yet known. Since 2004 he lives and works as head of the European offices of his newspaper in London.
