The Douve is a coastal river in France, which runs in the department of Manche, in the Basse -Normandie. It rises in the municipality of Tollevast, drained generally in a south-easterly direction, crosses the Regional Natural Park Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin and ends after 79 kilometers north-east of Carentan in the English Channel. Between Carentan and the mouth of the river to the Canal de Carentan à la Mer has been removed, can be also used by ships.
