Dr. Dog are a Founded in 1999, American rock band from the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

Band History

The band originated from Leamans and McMickens music project Racoon. Their first album The Psychedelic Swamp, they released in 2001 on their own. After Jim James took notice of her second album Toothbrush, he invited them to tour with his band My Morning Jacket. After positive press reports, Dr. Dog of Park The Van Records were taken under contract. The breakthrough came with the " perfect pop melodies before bursting album" (Music Express) We All Belong 2007, as a result they performed at Late Night with David Letterman.
