Dragana Tomašević

Dragana Tomasevic ( Serbian Cyrillic Драгана Томашевић; born June 4, 1982 in Sremska Mitrovica ) is a Serbian Discus.

At her first international appearance at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Tomasevic failed as the 38th already in the qualifying round. At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005, it reached at the end with a width of 60.56 meters, the 7th Place. In the Mediterranean Games in Almería in 2005 she won the gold medal in Izmir before they won shortly thereafter at the Summer Universiade in 2005 the bronze medal. The European Athletics Championships 2006 in Gothenburg, Sweden Tomasevic reached a width of 60.20 meters and was therefore on the eighth. In the Summer Universiade 2007 in Bangkok, she won again bronze. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing she failed narrowly as 13 before reaching the final round. A year later she competed at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009, but came as the ninth qualifying with a width of 59.38 meters, not the final. The European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona she succeeded again the final. At the end she won with 60.10 meters in sixth place.
