To use a four -sided dice for items for six-sided units, eight-sided for terrain, ten pages of monsters and artifacts as well as twelve-page for Dragon. From five basic colors for the elements of air ( blue), Earth ( yellow), water ( green), fire ( red), death ( black ) contact the existing 13 nations together:

- Coral Elves ( green and blue) - Lavaelfen (Red and Black) - Dwarfs ( Yellow and Red) - Goblins ( yellow and black) - Amazons (Clear ) - Fire Bringer (Blue and Red ) - Undead ( Black) - Feral ( green and blue) - Marsh Schleicher (Green and Black ) - Fire Imps ( Red and Green) - Frostwing ( blue and black) - Forest People ( yellow and green ) - Eldarim (in all 5 colors)

Each of these peoples has one or two special abilities in order to further differentiate. The colors of the dice determine what magic cube can act when conjured. The rarer cubes have except the default actions ( melee, ranged, maneuvers, magic, defense ) usually have several special abilities (which are represented by icons on the dice ) to make it more attractive to the use of the rare cube.

The game was never so great a commercial success as the collectible card games, due to its success it had been developed, and stood by the financial difficulties of TSR on the brink of before it was delivered to SFR. However, it is the longest-running and most well-known representative of its genre.
