Drahov

Drahov ( German Drahles ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers southeast of the center of Veseli nad Lužnicí in South Bohemia and belongs to Okres Tábor.

Geography

Drahov is located on the right side of the Nežárka on a hill in the Trebon Basin. To the south, the Kozina rises (434 m ) in the west of Šibeniční vrch (446 m) and northwest Kalina ( 442 m). West of the village lies the creek creek Zlukovský a shallow trough in which it is stowed in the pond fishpond Farářský. Other major lakes in the area include the Nový fishpond in the north, the Velky vřesenský fishpond in the southeast and the Přední Sax in the south.

Neighboring towns are Zlukov and Donov in the north, Újezdec, Basta, Vávrovka and Pleše in the northeast, Vřesná, Kostroun and Ovčín in the east, Baldýnka, V Drápale, Řehořinky, Cikar and Metel in the southeast, Hamr and Val in the south, Vlkov, Hlavičky and Dehetník in the southwest, and Veseli nad Lužnicí Krkavec Mlýn in the west and Mezimostí nad Nežárkou and Tyršova čtvrť in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village parish Drahov took place in 1359 as a possession of the Lords of Bernartice and Mezimostí of the family of Witigonen. Subsequent owners were the lords of Želeč and Straz. At the end of the 15th century the lords Neuhaus acquired the estate. After the death of Joachim Ulrich von Neuhaus, the counts Slavata inherited the property and proposed Drahov 1693 rule Kardašova Řečice to. Two years later, Johann Maximilian and Karl Joseph von Götz inherited the property. The latter, who was the sole owner since 1717, sold the reign 1725 to Johann Ferdinand von Kufstein, they still advanced to the goods and Pleše Vřesná. From him she bought in 1740 by Johann Wenzel Caretto - Millesimo, Margrave of Savona, which they sold in 1746 to Charles Earl SWEERTS - Spork. He sold it in 1752 to the reign of Joseph Freiherr von Jungwirth. After the parish was extinguished, formed the Church to 1752 a branch of the parish church Kardašova Řečice. From 1752 was Drahov seat of a Kaplanats, which was raised in 1786 under the patronage of the religious fund to the parish and 1807 downgraded to Lokalie. In 1768, Joseph Jungwirth exchanged the rule in a Wenzel Prince of pair of Budišov. In 1840 there was Drahles / Drahow from 48 houses with 325 inhabitants. In the village passed a tavern and the church. In addition to the grand Drahles Grange Wřezna included ( Vřesná ), the earlier formed a good of its own with the village Záhoří, with the sheep ( Ovčín ), a hunting lodge ( Baldýnka ) and Heger apartment. Drahles was vicarage for Doniow, Metel, Karlstejn ( Karštejn ) Augezdetz with Neprassky and Slukau. Until the mid- 19th century, the village of the rule Kardašova Řečice and the princes couple remained submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Drahov / Drahles formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Trebon / Wittingau and the jurisdiction Veseli nad Lužnicí. 1858 was re-established in Drahov own parish. After the abolition of Okres Trebon Drahov in 1948 part of the Okres Soběslav. This was redissolved in 1961 and assigned to the Drahov Okres Tábor. On 1 January 1976 Drahov was incorporated into Veseli nad Lužnicí. After a referendum, the village made ​​to date November 24, 1990 go again and again since then forms a separate municipality.
