The Dranse d' Abondance is a mountain river in France, which runs in the Haute- Savoie, in the Rhône -Alpes. It rises in the municipal area of ​​Chatel, close to the Col de Bassachaux, near the border with Switzerland. The river drains generally northwest, united by a distance of about 39 kilometers in the municipality of La Forclaz with the Dranse de Morzine and thus forms the river Dranse, which eventually flows into Lake Geneva.
