Drawn and Quarterly

Drawn and Quarterly (also D Q ) is a Canadian comic book publisher based in Montréal, Québec. The publishing house was created from the same comic anthology magazine, which was launched in 1990 by Chris Oliveros in accordance with Art Spiegelman's RAW.

In addition to the anthology magazine that is published only once a year, Drawn and Quarterly graphic novels and sequential series laid in the area of ​​independent and alternative comics.

The name of the publisher is to the obvious ( drawn and quarterly) also a pun on the execution method of quartering, in English to be drawn and quartered.
