Drebbel (crater)

Drebbel is an impact crater on the western limb of the Moon front, southwest of Mare Humorum, northeast of the big Wall Schickard level. The rim is irregularly shaped and only slightly eroded with traces of extensive landslides. The interior is largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the Dutch physicist and inventor Cornelis Drebbel Jacobszoon.
