Dresden is a town in Washington County in the U.S. state of New York. Dresden has 677 inhabitants on an area of 142.5 square km. The population density is 4.9 inhabitants / km ². Dresden is located in upstate New York in the Adirondack State Park on the border with the U.S. state of Vermont. To the west lies the Town of Lake George, in the east of Lake Champlain.

History
