Drezna
Dresna (Russian Дрезна ) is a town with 11,820 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ) in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It is located on the same influx of Klyazma, 83 km east of Moscow. The two nearest towns are around ten kilometers each distance Likino - Duljowo and the raion center Orechowo - Zuyevo.
History
Dresna was established in 1897 as a settlement worker at a textile factory, founded at the same time the two sons of industrialist Ivan Simin from Orechowo - Zuyevo. Since then and until today Dresna is an important location of the textile industry in the Moscow area. On October 7, 1940, the settlement was granted town rights.
Economy and Transport
The two most important companies in the city are the textile factory (since 1992 registered as a corporation ) and an agricultural operation.
Important road links exist on the roads A108 and M7. The city has a railway connection with a station on the route from Moscow ( Kursk station ) to Nizhny Novgorod.
