DÅ™Ãnov (KroměřÞ District)
Dřínov ( German Drzinow, also Dřínow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located west of Kroměříž and belongs to Okres Kroměříž.
Geography
Dřínov is located in the northeastern foothills of the hill country Littentschitzer the transition to the Upper Moravian Valley ( Hornomoravský úval ). Neighboring towns are Unčice, Pavlovice u Kojetína and Srbce in the northwest and north, the east and Vlčí Doly Uhřice in the southeast.
History
The first written mention of the town dates from 1348 and has Dřínov than owned by Jiří z Bojanovic. The place changed (from 1670 Entailed Estate, mostly with the northern Wrchoslawitz ) throughout history often the owner. As of 1653, the history of the place is firmly linked with the family Desfours or Desfours - Walderode.
