Dropbear (software)
Dropbear is a ( also free ) alternative to the OpenSSH server and client Dropbear dar. was designed by Matt Johnston specially designed for working environments that provide little memory and / or processor resources (see: Embedded System).
Technology
Dropbear is a complete implementation of the protocol version 2 of the Secure Shell ( SSH2) dar.
The cryptographic algorithms internally use some cryptographic libraries from other open - source packages.
Properties
Dropbear is a full implementation of the SSH2 protocol - both the client and the server. The version 1 of the SSH protocol has not been implemented: Primarily, this is used to obtain a slim design program code to save resources and avoid known security vulnerabilities in SSH version 1.
