Angel of the Lost (Japanese醉い どれ 天使, Tenshi Yoidore, dt " the drunken angel " ) is a Japanese Toho movie from 1948, directed by Akira Kurosawa.

Action

In an unnamed city in post-war Japan, a doctor with a drinking problem and a wounded gangster meet. The evolving relationship between two and gangsterism and the social, moral situation of Japan are main subjects of the film.
