Drupi

Drupi ( born August 10, 1947 in Pavia, actually Giampiero Anelli ), named after Droopy Dog, is an Italian singer.

Biography

The northern Italian singer was soon inspired by the music of the Beatles. The mid-1960s he was already a member of a rock band called "The Magnet", but also drove motocross race and gave diving lessons. In the early 1970s began a solo career as a singer.

Drupi performed for the first time in 1973 at the San Remo Festival and finished with his song Vado via the last place. The song still managed in France at the top of the singles charts in the UK and in the top 20 was followed by the successful in several European countries Singles Piccola e fragile, Sereno è, Due and Sambariò with which Drupi the mid-1970s in many German was seen television programs and often heard on the radio.

In 1982 he finished second in San Remo third place and came with Era bella davvero (1988) and with Voglio una donna (1995 ) two more times on the festival.
