The Drusenfluh is a mountain range between the Austrian Montafon and Prättigau in Switzerland. With 2827 meters, the Drusenfluh one of the ten highest peaks in the Alps Rätikon. About the mountain range leads the Austrian-Swiss border.

First ascent

The mountain guide Christian Zudrell has sculpted in 1870 as the first to climb his "calling card" in the summit rock. His route took him on August 14, 1870 by Imhof trough on the west ridge and over the Zudrellband to the summit.

Karl Eugen Blodig and Sohm succeeded in 1888, the second ascent. At the summit they found the stone with the initials of Christian Zudrell, CZ 70 Previously, it was still strongly challenged this first ascent climber in circles. On the day of his return to Bregenz Blodig sent a card to Zudrell, only with the inscription " CZ 70 ". The Montafon mountain guide replied as succinctly with "Congratulations to Drusenfluh ". The two got to know later and laughed about the invention of stone business card.

This summit stone was then brought in 1995 by a mountain guide in the valley, as weather and lightning it had already had considerable added. Today, this stone can be seen at the Lindauer hut.

Of course it is not absolutely necessary to climb the mountain in the vertical, if you like sophisticated, but still comfortable, can walk on a hiking route " Prättigauer Trail " on the sunny side of whole Rätikon chain along.
