Geography

The lake is located about four kilometers south of the town of Mölln, but belongs to the municipality Lehmrade in the Official Gudow - Sterley, district Duchy of Lauenburg. It closes in the north to the location south of Mölln Hellbachtal, and is also the first lake in the chain of lakes Möllner.
