Drygalski (crater)

Drygalski is an impact crater in the extreme southeast of the lunar front side, south of the crater Hausen and southeast of Zeeman. The rim is moderately eroded, the interior just with a pronounced central peak.

The crater was created in 1964 officially named by the IAU by the German geographer and polar researcher Erich von Drygalski.
