Drymalia (Greek Δρυμαλία ( f sg ) ) from 1998 to 2010, a church on the Greek island of Naxos in the prefecture of the Cyclades ( Νομός Κυκλάδων ). Administrative headquarters was the site of Halki. With the administrative reform in 2010 Drymalia was merged with five other municipalities to the municipality Naxos and Small Cyclades, in which it has since formed a district.

Location

The municipality Drymalia takes in the north, east and south, an approximately 70 % of the island of Naxos Island. The remaining area is managed by the district in the west of the island of Naxos.

Structure

The administrative reform of 1997, after Ioannis Kapodistrias plan led to Naxos on 31 December 1998 to form the two municipalities of Naxos and Drymalia. In the community Drymalia in the east of the island accounted for 302.828 km ², just over 70 % of the total.

The district Drymalia is divided into 11 municipalities, which correspond to the former municipal districts.

The municipality Drymalia is divided into one municipality and ten local communities that meet the former municipal districts.
