Dudley Perkins

Declaime or Dudley Perkins is an American rapper (as Declaime ) and R & B singer (as Dudley Perkins ).

Career (as Declaime )

Declaime began rapping in 1987 and was originally a member of the Likwit Crew by King Tee. As such, he had to listen to his first appearance on the album Coast II Coast of the Alkaholiks and was also on Lootpacks Sound Pieces. His first solo release was 1999, when an EP that was produced by Madlib - just like Declaimes first album Andsoitissaid, which appeared in 2001. In 2004 he finally released the album Conversations with Dudley, that linked his two musical identities, and Dudley Declaime Perkins ( see below).

Career (as Dudley Perkins )

Together with Quasimoto, an alter ego Madlib, he took to the containing acid jazz elements song Flowers as the vocalist Dudley Perkins. This caught the attention of Peanut Butter Wolf, who then took him to his record label Stones Throw Records. There he published his two albums A Lil 'Light and Expressions.
