Duels (band)

Duels are an English indie rock band from Leeds.

Career

Today's band was born after the dissolution of the group SammyUSA, which had belonged to some of the musicians of the current cast. After the first shots were able to achieve some notable successes with British radio, the first single from the label Transgressive was on 18 July 2005 with "Potential Futures " was published. The title was known mainly for the soundtrack of the computer game FIFA 2006, in which it was included.

In May 2005 Duels signed a contract Nude Records, which released his second single " Pressure On You" on 7 November of the same year. With "Animal " is the third award was followed on 10 April 2006, the band's debut album " The Bright Lights And What I Should Have Learned" was released in July. In March 2007, the Group announced to have separated from the previous label, a second album should still be in the pipeline.
