Duo Tal & Groethuysen

The Israeli pianist Yaara Tal (* February 27, 1955 in Kfar Saba ) and the German pianist Andreas Groethuysen ( born September 2, 1956 in Munich) include as a duo Tal & Groethuysen internationally the most famous piano duos of our time.

Biography

Yaara Tal received her education in Israel Ilona Vincze and Arie Vardi, before she went to Germany to complete her studies with Hugo Steurer and Ludwig Hoffmann. Andreas Groethuysen, son of Herbert Groethuysen studied with Ludwig Hoffmann and in London with Peter Feuchtwanger.

Since 1985, the two occur worldwide as a piano duo and have since been in the most important centers of musical life (eg, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Philharmonie Berlin, Teatro alla Scala, Tonhalle Zurich ) and at prestigious festivals (such as the Ruhr Piano Festival, a piano festival La Roque d ' Anthéron, Salzburg Festival ) establish.
