Duracell wanted to prove to the drumming bunny that the (then) new alkaline batteries are better and longer donate energy than the zinc -carbon batteries of the competition.

Criticism of the advertising character

In addition to countless parodies and corruptions of Duracellhase experiences in certain countries criticism and censorship. Thus, he was classified for example, in China as " not lawful " because it is prohibited by Chinese law to lie in commercials and / or grossly exaggerating. Therefore, the rabbit appears in China while on the original packaging, but as sprinting cartoon character.
