Duran Kalkan

Duran Kalkan ( * in the district in the province of Adana Karaisalı ) is one of the key figures of the underground organization Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK ). His code name is Abbas. Kalkan is Turkish origin and primarily responsible for the ideological direction of the organization.

Functions

Duran Kalkan is an organizational member of the first hour and held various party committees of the PKK and its successor organizations working in a leading position.
