Dyckerhoff & Widmann

Dywidag ( Dyckerhoff & Widmann AG ) was a formerly large German construction group as Cement Products Factory Lang & Cie.. 1865 Founded in Karlsruhe, and since then has largely been absorbed into the Strabag Group.

History

The founding fathers of the company were the merchant Heinrich Lang, the building inspector Franz Serger and the cement Industrial Wilhelm Gustav Dyckerhoff. After the entry of Dyckerhoff son Eugen Dyckerhoff and whose father Gottlieb Widmann in the company in 1869, a change of name to Dyckerhoff & Widmann KG.
