DYWIDAG - Systems International (DSI ) is a global technology group in the construction and mining sector. The DSI Holding GmbH has its headquarters in Munich.

History

The DSI was founded in 1979 as a subsidiary of Dyckerhoff & Widmann AG worldwide sales of licenses for DYWIDAG products and systems. The business focus was initially in civil engineering, with the market segment prestressing technology and geotechnical engineering. In 2000, DSI began a second business in the field of underground mining with the development, production and distribution of products and systems to be installed for the mining and tunneling. With the merger of Walter Bau AG and DYWIDAG to Walter Bau-AG together with DYWIDAG in 2001 DSI was also transferred to the new company.
