Dylewska Góra

The Dylewska Góra ( German core Höhe ) is a 312 m high ridge up in northern Poland ( Central Europe).

The mountain range is located in the Warmia - Mazury and is a southern part of the Baltic country back on the southwest border of the former East Prussia. There he lies in the Masurian Lake District, about half way between Gdansk and Warsaw, about 40 km ( straight line ) southwest of Olsztyn ( Olsztyn ). Its highest mountain is the highest point of East Prussia and the second highest mountain in northern Poland, located on him a radio tower.

The core Höhe was formed in the ice ages than the moraine.

Among the towns that lie directly in or on the core Höhe include Lubawa ( Lobau ) and Stębark ( Tannenberg ). Near the highest point there is a luxury hotel.

Winter sports

It used to be the core Höhe with the snow conditions are good as an ideal winter sports area, which also allowed for steep descents in places.
