Dzięcielec

Dzięcielec ( kaschuisch Dzięcielec, German Zinzelitz, Lauenburg / Pomerania ) is a village in the rural community of Gmina Łęczyce the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the powiat Wejherowski.

History

The town's original name Dzięcielić was changed several times in the course of history. In Danziger Komtureibuch the place is listed as Sinizelcz. The place is also mentioned in the Lehnsbriefen the years 1575-1618, with the associated good between the families of Zitzelski is (later of Diezelsky ) divided by Kontersyn and Lissow. 1658 it is represented by of Zitzelski and John of Tadden.

In 1905 it was renamed the hitherto valid name Dzincelitz in Zinzelitz, there was a further renamed Specht Hagen until 1939. Until 1945 the village belonged to the district of Lauenburg in Pomerania in the district of the Prussian province of Pomerania Pomerania.

After 1945 the town by the name Dzięcielec was Polish. He now belongs to the Gmina Łęczyce in powiat Wejherowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (1975-1998 Voivodeship Danzig).
