Dziurdziewo

Dziurdziewo [ dʑurdʑɛvɔ ] ( German: Dziurdziau, from 1938 Thalheim ) is part of the municipality Kozłowo ( German: Koslau ) in Poland. It is located 15 km west of the city Nidzica ( Neidenburg ) and belongs to the powiat Nidzicki in the Warmia - Mazury.

History

The first written reference 1321. Already in pre-Reformation period was a church. The Protestant parish, which was connected in 1670 with river Skottau and was in the former county Neidenburg, also included the locations Camiontken, Taubendorf, Wiersbau and Wiesenfeld.

On January 20, 1945, the site was occupied by Soviet troops and then handed over to Poland.
