E-Meter

The E-meter, electric meter Psycho, electrometer or electroscope Hubbard is one used by the Scientology organization device that makes using two electrodes held in the hands of changes in the electrical resistance of the body as a pointer movement visible. A medical usefulness of the device can not be detected.

Technology

The published circuit diagrams describe a device to indicate changes of the DC resistance between the electrodes with a pointer instrument. By potentiometer on the front of the device, the zero point and the gain of the measurement circuit can be set. This allows the operator to adjust both the position of the pointer and the strength of the pointer deflection. Criticism
