Easter Egger

Green Leger are called, lay eggs with green to turquoise -colored egg shell domestic hens. However, they are not purebred Araucana chickens, but caused by introgression of Araucana chickens.

Green Leger have a number of special features. The Green Leger hybrids are rather small hybrids. Occasionally missing the tail feathers or animals lacking even the vertebrae of the tail, so that they are tailless.
