The Eastern Mediterranean University, Turkish: Dogu Akdeniz Üniversitesi ( DAT ), English: Eastern Mediterranean University ( EMU ), is a university founded in 1979 and 1986 for the university appointed in the city of Famagusta Northern Cyprus.

The university has over 14,000 students. President is Prof. Dr. Ufuk Taneri.
