Eber Finn

Éber [' e ː ver], and Eber Finn, is the name of a legendary figure from the Lebor Gabála Érenn ( "The Book of acquisitions of land in Ireland " ) Celtic mythology of Ireland

Mythology and Etymology

Éber is one of the sons of the leader of the Milesians, Míl Espáne. After the conquest of Ireland against the resistance of the Tuatha Dé Danann he takes over control of the southern part of the island. This division has proposed and directed the Druid Amergin. But after a year, he falls in the fight against his brother Eremon, originally the northern half, but thereafter dominated the entire country.

Whether the name Éber with the Celtic prince symbolism of male wild boar, the boar, related, is not conclusive answers.
