Style

Ebony Tears have experimented with many different styles, with the roots of Death Metal were always observed. The album Tortura Insomniae approaches the musical New Wave of Swedish Death Metal ( NWoSDM ), while other albums are reminiscent of a death metal version of the music of Iron Maiden. A Handful of Nothing contained more thrash metal elements than its predecessor and was a bit harder. Very often also occur melodic songs which are supported by violins and were often inspired by folk metal. Azf the album Evil as Hell the style of the band was faster, harder and more brutal and renounced many influences of NWoSDM.
