Ebru Gündeş

Ebru Gündes ( born October 12, 1974 in Istanbul) is an artist of Turkish arabesque music.

Ebru Gündes was born in Istanbul and in Ankara went to school. After her parents moved back to Istanbul, where they had to stop their education due to financial problems. Early on it was discovered the quality of their voice. In their younger years one of her relatives took her to Neşe Demirkat, a Teilhaberin of the record label Raks Müzik Neşe. Neşe Demirkat was impressed with her ​​expressive voice so that they are the music producers Koral Saritaş and Selçuk Tekay presented Ebru.

Career

Their first album called Tanri Misafiri she took on in 1993. This album was very successful. In 1994 she was elected by the music station Kral TV for best female singer of Turkish art music. It is produced by Koray Saritas, the owner of the company " Mars Müzik ". Also in 1996, she was again honored by the music channel Kral Tv as the best singer of Turkish folk music. From 2013 she is a jury member of the Turkish talent show O Ses Türkiye.
