Economiesuisse

Economiesuisse (brand: economiesuisse ) is an umbrella organization representing the Swiss economy.

This is the largest umbrella organization representing the Swiss economy. As an association of Swiss companies stand behind the organization around 100,000 companies of different sizes with a total of two million employees. Members of Economiesuisse are 100 industry associations, 20 cantonal chambers of commerce and individual companies.

History

Economiesuisse was founded on 15 September 2000 in Lausanne. As an association of Swiss companies they emerged (suburb) and wf, Society for the Promotion of the Swiss economy from the Swiss trade and industry association. The name is composed of the French words " économie " ( Management) and " suisse " ( Swiss ).

Organization

The organization sees itself as representing the interests of business in the political process, it represents the connected members both at national and international level. As a lobbying organization tries to exert influence on Economiesuisse Parliament. Classically, the association represents liberal concern here: more responsibility, less welfare state, free trade, lower taxes, less intervention by the state.
