Ed Boon

Edward J. Boon ( born February 22, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American video game programmer working for Midway Games.

Boon along with John Tobias co-founder of the Mortal Kombat video game series. He is still working on his Mortal Kombat games, movies and TV series. He has also lent his voice and the games involved in the motion capture. He had in 1986 made ​​a successful Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and computer science at the University of Illinois.

In both Mortal Kombat films Boon lent his voice to the character Scorpion.
