The annual turnover is around a billion dollars in the United States. The company operates about 370 stores there, further sales channel is operated since 1945 by mail order. In June 2009, creditor protection was sought under Chapter 11.

Germany

On the German market Eddie Bauer has been represented since 1993, and from 1995 to 2008, the Otto Group was concerned about his daughter Heine Shipping on German companies offshoot. 2008, the former Heine CEO Werner Schulz took over all shares. In 2007, the then existing seven stores were in Germany have been abandoned, in retail stores, the company has since only one outlet store in Cologne and with a special sale on the German headquarters in Taufkirchen near Munich present.
