Eddie Redmayne

Edward John David " Eddie" Redmayne ( born January 6, 1982 in London, England ) is a British actor, singer and model.

Life

Redmayne was, among others, by his performance in Elizabeth - The Golden Age known. He attended Eton College and studied art history at Trinity College, Cambridge. 2008 Redmayne modeled for the clothing brand Burberry.

In 2010 he was named best supporting actor at the Laurence Olivier Award, the most important English theater price, excellent. He received the award for his performance in the play Red, where he performed alongside Alfred Molina. In the same year he also received the most important American theater award, the Tony Award. In January 2012 he was awarded for his title role in Richard II at London Dolmar Warehouse Theatre the London Critics Circle Theatre Award 2011 for Best Shakespearean actor.

For his performance in the film Les Misérables (2012), in which he also sang for the first time, Redmayne prepared himself by teaching at the London vocal coach Mark Meylan. The vocal recordings were not - as in music films usually usual - in the recording studio, but on the set in front of the camera instead.

Modeling career

Redmayne is modeling for Burberry, among others, alongside Cara Delevingne.
