Eddy Ouwens

Eddy Ouwens aka Danny Mirror ( * May 30, 1946 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch producer and songwriter. Two songs written by him were already the Euro Vision Song Contest win: Ding -a- dong 1975, presented by the Dutch band Teach-In, and La det swinge 1985 with the Norwegian band Bobby Socks.

He became internationally known - under the pseudonym Danny Mirror - through its toll - song I Remember Elvis Presley, which he recorded immediately after the death of the King of Rock 'n ' Roll and brought out. The single reached number 1 in the Netherlands, 10th in Germany, # 4 in the UK and number 17 in Austria. Some years later he took along with Elvis' former vocal group The Jordanaires a number of Elvis songs and brought them in 1981 as LP- Box under the title 50 x The King - Elvis Presley's Greatest Songs and a selection thereof as LP entitled 10x the King on the market.
