Edelmiro Julián Farrell

Edelmiro Julián Farrell ( born February 12, 1887 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, † October 31, 1980 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine officer and 1944-1946 de facto president of Argentina.

Farrel came in the wake of the coup, the fascist -oriented GOU ( Grupo de Oficiales Unidos ) from June 4, 1943 against the government Castillo to power. He showed open sympathy for the Axis powers, but had in the end because of the war course to approach the Allies.
